Christmas Tree Season 2023

The season is upon us and we will be operating basically the same as last year... same hours, same prices, same place, same people, same trees (mostly).  Our customers are typically returning families or people who learned about us by word of mouth, so most already have a good idea of what to expect. You can read the Tree Season posts from previous years for more details, but in short we are a rustic tree farm with naturally grown noble firs. 

This means the trees are unshaped and branches not dense like at most farms, the hillside isn't fully groomed, and generally the experience of coming here is somewhere between going into the forest to find a tree, and going to a more commercial farm. You probably won't find a perfectly symmetrical 8 foot noble, but we and our customers love what we have. If you enjoy experiences that are a little rough around the edges, but full of their own beauty and wonder, we might have something you'll enjoy too. 

Pricing:

Christmas Trees:

• Nobles up to 8 feet - $80
• Add $10 per foot over 8'
• Ask about Doug firs $20 and up

Fresh Wreaths:

• Make your own - $10

We prefer Venmo or cash for payment, but also take checks and PayPal.

2023 at a Glance

 As October is winding down, I am finally catching a moment to provide a small update on this year. I'm not going to write much about it because I wouldn't even know where to begin at this point, but we are well and grateful for the beautiful fall days we have been having. The amanitas and mushrooms everywhere have just started to pop up (a bit early this year) and we have been loving our walks in the misty weather with so many tiny (and some not so tiny) wonders all around. I'll share a somewhat random selection of images from the past 10 months. We do plan to be selling Christmas trees again this year, but I will provide another update on that when the time gets closer. For now, I hope you enjoy these unordered glimpses of 2023 at our farm.
