We were so excited to get some snow this year. It wasn't a huge amount, but it was enough to really make it feel like winter and to enjoy some good old-fashioned snow fun like sledding and snowmen.
We might have gotten a little carried away with the snowmen. We tend to get reclusive in the winter time, so these snow people were probably our first company since our final tree customers of the year headed home.
We also had another unusual visitor, a nutria. We never really see them up at the top of the hill here, but this one was passing by apparently heading down towards the creek. I wonder if we'll see signs of him later in the year as we have seen evidence of beaver down there before.
